The information that you supply will be held and processed in line with UK GDPR/Data Protection Act 2018/EU GDPR.

Information will be used by the University of Derby (as Data Controller) to update your contact details held by the University;

We may contact you to clarify details or check contact information.

We retain personal information up to five years after you complete your course, in line with our three years of continued graduate support and alumni offer; after such time we will contact the individual to ensure they still wish to receive alumni information. In the event that the individual does not wish to continue to receive this information their data will be securely destroyed.

It will be shared externally with Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) for the purpose of conducting the Graduate Outcomes survey.
